A: Postnatal blues are very common, affecting around 50–80% of mothers, and usually last from a few days up to two weeks. If low mood or emotional difficulties persist beyond two weeks or begin to affect daily life, you should seek professional support as soon as possible.
A: Many mothers worry that they have insufficient breast milk. Our lactation consultants will assess your feeding technique and your baby’s latch, and provide personalised advice to support milk production.
A: During the first six weeks after delivery, rest and recovery should be the priority, and strict dieting is not recommended. Our dietitians can provide guidance on maintaining a healthy, balanced diet.
A: Yes. We strongly encourage partners to attend, so they can better understand how to support the mother’s recovery and care for the baby.
A: For safety reasons, access is restricted to parents and healthcare staff only. Family members and visitors may view babies through the viewing window.
A: Yes. We offer guidance and demonstrations on bottle feeding, baby bathing, umbilical cord care, and basic skincare.
