  • Pulmonary Function Tests: These tests assess and rule out any existing lung function issues using spirometry. They also evaluate gas exchange in the lungs, disease progression, and treatment effectiveness. 
    • Lung Volume/Capacity Testing: Measures a patient’s breathing capacity and flow rates to diagnose conditions such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This test is also used to assess lung function prior to surgery.
