Psychotherapy

What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a professional, evidence based treatment that helps individuals cope with mental health challenges and improve their quality of life. Psychologists begin by assessing a client’s concerns and contributing factors, then select an appropriate treatment approach. Therapy sessions can take place individually, or with partners and family members. The duration depends on the client’s circumstances and goals.
