Children's Growth Assessment Programme
We conduct a comprehensive evaluation of children's growth and development, including the measurement of height and growth rate, to ensure early detection of potential growth issues or diseases, such as childhood short stature, hypothyroidism, or growth hormone deficiency.
If your child's height falls below the "3rd percentile" on the growth chart.
If their height is below the expected target height based on parental height.
If your child is noticeably shorter than their peers.
Parents should regularly monitor their child's height, measuring every 3-4 months:
For prepubescent children: A minimum growth of 4 cm per year.
For children in the pubertal stage: A minimum growth of 6 cm per year.

Children grow at different speeds, but some may enter puberty too early. Central precocious puberty happens when the brain releases hormones too soon, leading to early development. Our programme offers professional assessment and personalised care to support healthy growth.
Girls: Development of breast tissue before age 8 or onset of menstruation before age 10.
Boys: Enlargement of the penis or testicles and development of pubic hair before age 9.

Sex hormones
Thyroid-stimulating hormone
Free thyroxine
Hormone injections to suppress pituitary hormone secretion (based on clinical circumstances).
