Patient & Family Committee

We will hold regular "Patient & Family Committee" meetings. The functions of the committee are:

• To facilitate collection of patient experience and feedback which could be integrated into the decision-making or policy development processes in Union Hospital;
• To provide training as appropriate to inform and support patient representatives for patient engagement activities;
• To involve in the evaluation of the processes and suggest improvements to promote person-­centred care;
• To consult about effective ways of patient and family participation in hospital activities. 

Under normal circumstances, biannual gathering sessions will be hosted. Through this direct communication opportunity between patients, parents, carers, healthcare professionals and hospital management, we are confident that, with your help, it could contribute to continual quality improvement.
