To further elevate your hospital stay experience, Union Hospital has expanded with a brand-new extension block spanning 50,000 square feet. The Extension Block introduces a new room type – “semi-private single room”, and the Sky Garden, along with other enhanced facilities and amenities, all centred around your needs to provide you with more personalised and thoughtful healthcare services.
The Extension Block adds 46 new semi-private single rooms, which are located on the 3rd floor Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department and the 5th floor Mix Wards. These rooms are designed to provide you with a more comfortable and private option as we care about your needs, as well as your budget.
Enjoy a single suite with an independent space at a budget-friendly rate for the “semi-private” room type.
Each room has its own en-suite bathroom and a companion bed, allowing you a quality rest and be accompanied by your loved ones.
The Extension Block features a wood-inspired design, creating a warm and cozy ambiance that resembles a hotel stay.
The new first-stage room and delivery rooms are located on the 3rd floor Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. Adjacent to each other, the design allows expectant mothers to move to the delivery room without passing through public corridors, providing a more convenient and thoughtful arrangement to alleviate mothers’ worries.

The 6th floor Sky Garden features a variety of plants, including the beautiful and fragrant ornamental plants such as Fortune’s Cape Jasmine, Purple Glorytree, and Brazil Raintree, as well as the evergreen favourties like Pearl Acacia and Madagascar Almond. As they evolve and display different colours and forms across seasons, they brighten up this place where patients and visitors can take a rest and rejuvenate themselves in their healing journey.
Union Hospital Green Café is back with a new look. Located on the 2nd floor, the renovated space features a glass atrium that bathes the area in natural sunlight, creating a bright and refreshing ambiance for guests to enjoy a moment of leisure with a gourmet meal.
