Physical fitness of professional drivers is a major public concern. Our inter-disciplinary healthcare team is proud to present the 'Health Screening Program for Professional Drivers'.
Two checkup plans are available from which employers and professional drivers can choose depending on their needs.
Plan A includes a standard physical checkup, blood test for anaemia; sight and hearing test for assessing the functioning of eyes and ears. Treadmill exercise test for screening heart diseases such as coronary artery disease.
Plan B comprises additional blood test, blood glucose and lipid Profile which is assessing the level of total cholesterol, triglycerides and high- and low-density lipoproteins. High lipid level will increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Both plans include face-to-face doctor consultation and a detailed report.
Additional Urine Drug Test
Commonly abused drugs such as Amphetamine, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, cocaine, Ketamine, Methadone, opium, Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) etc. are detected and measured in urine drug test.
The 'Health Screening Program for Professional Drivers' aims to assist clients to gain a good understanding of their health condition. Early intervention coupled with professional health advices and adjustment in lifestyle can significantly lower the chances of developing certain diseases.
